Walcot Hall

When it comes to location, I think you can't go wrong with a Shropshire wedding venue. In the heart of the country and nestled in rural hills, surrounded by picturesque villages, Walcot Hall is a Georgian house which is a classic yet quirky venue ideal for couples who want to make a statement.

I was lucky enough to shoot there last February, and the turquoise ballroom provided an awe-inspiring backdrop for my pastel veils. With beautiful artwork, gold adornments and light flooding in through the huge windows, Walcot Hall is truly a unique wedding venue. It also has plenty of fun accommodation options to house your bridal party during your wedding celebrations. I personally also loved the chic walled garden draped with fairy lights - perfect for the drinks reception.

Despite being such a statement colour, the ballroom is actually a wonderful blank canvas to make your own. Following Walcot on Instagram I've seen just how unique each one of their weddings is, truly representing the couple for a personalised affair every time. In terms of photos, there are endless possibilities as the sprawling grounds boast endless locations for any weather eventuality. Even on a cold February day in the middle of a cold snap it was beautiful from every angle.

So there you have it, brides-to-be, a real box ticking, unique venue in a stunning location, family run and full of character. Click here to get your hands on Walcot Hall's wedding brochure today.
