Hello loves! How are we midway through May already? 2019 is really flying by but I'm totally ready for my favourite season... Summer! I love this time of year, mostly due to all the bank holidays, but I'm not gonna lie, I've actually spent the last two bank holiday Mondays working on my business. The first I spent making 5 veils, now don't feel too sorry for me as I know that was my choice! But when I get in the frame of mind of wanting to get shit done I just have to go for it - even if it's traditionally a 'holiday' day. The second of the most recent bank holidays was spent shooting some summery looks at the lovely Penny Black Cottage in Ironbridge. It's the perfect cottage Airbnb in Shropshire if you fancy a getaway in the historic Ironbridge Gorge for a few days. It has been lovingly restored by owner Yvonne, who has modernised the interior whilst keeping many nods to the original features of the historic building. Being Shropshire based myself, I love to work with locals and collaborate with like minded business owners. It's really nice to connect with people who are in the same boat as you and totally get what you're going through!

As always, I strayed away from traditional bridal wear for my shoot - firstly I selfishly wanted the focus to be on my veils, duh, but secondly, I know my brides are the coolest of cool and would rock a bridal jumpsuit or a sassy white suit too!
