Being based online is awesome as it means I have customers all over the globe, but it's really lovely to be sought after by a Shropshire bride. Abbie contacted me through Etsy, amazed to have found a fellow Telford-ite, looking for a veil to match her non-traditional rose gold, sequinned wedding dress in a hurry. Abbie & Jake pulled together their wedding in 3 weeks due to Abbie's father being unwell, and it was a bohemian, sparkling, festival inspired affair packed with personality a plenty. I feel truly honoured to have been a part of Abbie's day in a small way. I have followed Abbie on social media (eager to see her wedding pics!), but aside from that, her spirit and strength is truly inspiring and she has handled a difficult time in her life with such grace and honesty. Abbie sent me these gorgeous photos which were taken by True Life Captured. The pictures really capture the love and the vibe of the day, just looking at them makes me feel as if I was there.
Abbie & Jake married at the Wroexter Hotel in Shropshire, having their ceremony in a yurt and reception in a tipi - pretty cool right? Anyone who follows W Collective knows that pink is basically the only colour in our colour wheel so I'm loving Abbie's rose gold wedding dress from Miamor Boutique and the beautiful blush bridesmaid dresses from ASOS teamed with stacks of bohemian jewellery by Boho Moon. Abbie's undone, natural looking bouquet by Baloo and Blooms and the bridesmaid's floral hoops packed with eucalyptus and soft blush blooms are truly dreamy, and of course the boys look dapper in their tweed suits by Dapper Dan. Abbie opted for a rose pink coloured veil with a copper foil trim to compliment her dress, and it worked together perfectly!
