Friends of W Collective: Garthmyl Hall

I have been fortunate to have been invited to exhibit at Garthmyl Hall wedding fair twice, and it is truly a stunning venue. I love all the decor in each room, it is packed full of character and luxurious style. If you fancy having your own Grade II listed stately home for the day, this is the venue for you. It is not far from Welshpool, on the Wales/Shropshire/Herefordshire border. After meeting the lovely ladies who run Garthmyl, Julia & Polly, I got chatting to Polly about doing a photoshoot at this gorgeous and glam venue. I was particularly in awe of faux-taxidermy sculpture Geoff the giraffe by Broken Hare, and knew he had to be involved!

We went for a really bohemian, laid back shoot, featuring dresses from the new Bridal Reloved franchise in Shrewsbury. Steph brought along a selection of dresses, and each one looked divine. Olivia Moon photographed for us, and in true girl boss style brought along her second business, Wild Glitter, and provided biodegradable glitter for the shoot. On the glam team were Katie from Hair at Hurst Barn & Sasha Brown MUA - the girls worked seamlessly together to create the beauty looks on our gorgeous models Mai & Rebecca. Leanne from Serendipity Floral Designs made two blooming lovely bouquets and jewellery was provided by RDLux. Special mention to ESL Hire too for lending us an entire family of disco balls.

I hope you love these shots, we had such a fun day. I was absolutely exhausted on this day as my sister went into labour the night before, so I was at her house looking after my 5 year old nephew - by the time I got to the shoot I was delirious and giddy all at once, but all of the girls were so kind, understanding, lovely and fun, we had such a laugh and it was such a lovely day all round!
