Friends of W Collective: Amber's Wood Fired Kitchen

I was sitting here thinking, as the shop is shut for now, I should really spend my time doing more blogging. But I couldn't think of anything to blog about. For me, it doesn't feel right pushing veil sales at the moment when many brides and grooms are uncertain about if or when their wedding will happen. The UK lockdown has forced many of us to change our daily routine and work from home, but I know for many of my bridal industry friends work has stopped altogether and they're

not sure when it will begin again.

So I thought the kindest thing I could do right now, was so share some of my favourite wedding suppliers. These will all be suppliers I used for my wedding, or suppliers I have worked with on photoshoots or at wedding fairs.

If your wedding has been postponed or cancelled due to Coronavirus, my heart breaks for you. But rest assured you will have your dream day one day, and what a glorious day it will be. Seeing friends and family come together after been separated for so long will make it even more special - make sure you give everyone an extra long hug when you see them. I'm sure the thought of your wedding is the light at the end of a very long tunnel. Maybe you could utilise this time to reevaluate, reassess and edit your big day. Figure out what matters the most to you and plan accordingly.

I don't know whether my rambling blog posts will be of any use or not, but let me start with something mouthwatering... pizza.

Our evening food was one of the first things we booked for our wedding. We knew we wanted a street food style van, and we figured 'who doesn't like pizza?!'. I can't remember how we came across Amber's Wood Fired Kitchen, but as soon as we saw they were Shropshire based we'd sent off an enquiry. Not only was there a delicious menu, with vegan options, the van looks super cool and we knew it would sit perfectly in the courtyard of Delbury Hall where we had our wedding. On the wedding day, you sort of forget about the evening food, so when that van appeared, I remember thinking 'woohoo, they're here!'. I think the pizza got the most compliments from our guests, everyone raved about it, including us, especially when we ate the leftovers the next day!

I've since crossed paths with Amber & the team at wedding fairs, and we do try to stalk the events they're at, so we've seen them at Telford Balloon Festival & Madeley Green Day. We basically will do anything for another slice of pizza to remind us of our wedding day. I cannot recommend them highly enough, if you're looking for laid back, crowd pleasing food for your wedding or event, get in touch with them now!
